Tech Collective - West Midlands

Tech Collective – West Mids
We’re a community of people from across the West Midlands tech scene who want to share ideas, experiences and lessons learned. Whether you work in delivery, data, engineering, product, design or leadership, or you’re just curious about where technology is heading, you’re welcome here.

Our conversations cover:

• AI: how teams are actually using it, what’s working, what isn’t, and what it means for the way we work
• Delivery: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean and whatever helps teams deliver value
• People and teams: leadership, culture, careers and building great places to work
• Data: analytics, engineering, governance and making data-driven decisions that stick
• Future tech: emerging tools, trends and ideas that are worth getting ahead of

If you lead a team in any of these areas, whether you’re new to leadership or have been doing it for years, this group is for you too. Come and learn from other leaders about bringing out the best in your people, building strong teams and handling the challenges of leading through constant change.

We meet quarterly and invite speakers from across the industry to share their experiences, successes and failures. We hope you’ll take away practical ideas to try with your own teams, then come back and tell us how it went. Along the way you’ll make some friends over pizza and drinks!

We’re a roaming group, moving around the West Midlands to support and grow the region’s tech community. We’re always looking for people to present or run sessions, and for businesses that would like to host us. If you’re interested, get in touch!
