Technology Infrastructure/Systems for Beginners & Tech Help Session

For 1st half of meeting, Robin will facilitate a presentation/discussion on the basics of the core technology infrastructure systems all organizations need to have to effectively operate.
Overview:
- Overview of Technology Infrastructure (i.e. PCs, routers, modems, phones, servers, networks, etc.)
- Explanation of "the cloud"
- Management/Administration Best Practices and Tool/Product Recommendations
- Phone Systems, Internet and Web Conferencing Systems
- Server Recommendations
For 2nd half of meeting, we'll do our Tech Help small group breakouts. Nonprofits will share their current technology/system/equipment questions/needs and then we'll break into small groups to help them!
About the Speaker: Robin Weston is an IT and Telecommunications consultant with over 20 years in the industry. In 2019, he started up his own Technology Brokerage and Advisory firm, Compendium Communications, with a focus on technology education and enablement. He’s working hard to be as active a member of the Tampa Bay area community as possible, aimed at helping both for- and non-profit organizations.
