Calling all night owls, moonlighters and other creatures of the night. Night Owls is a global trend of people who prefer to work into the wee hours of the night. Come and work on your stuff, found the next startup, and meet other night creatures just like you.
This time the program will focus on the use of internet technology to achieve social and political impact.

"Open Knesset" project: do you know if your elected Knesset members are doing their job? How can you decide how to vote? What is going on at the Knesset anyway? Open Knesset is a non profit, open source website built by volunteers for the benefit of all Israeli citizens.
Ofri Raviv, Jedi knight of Open Knesset, will speak about the idea behind the website, the technology used to build it (Python, Django), and how you can contribute to this project. Benny Weingarten, developer at Open Knesset, will speak about building Android (https://market.android.com/details?id=org.oknesset) and iPhone (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id475096101) apps simultaneously in open source, using cross platform development technologies like PhoneGap, Sencha Touch. -
Internet and Israel's social protest movement:
Amnon Dafni, technologist and activist, media coordinator of the social protest movement, will speak about 'J14 (http://j14.org.il/)', the protest movement's main website, the technology behind it and the important role it plays as an alternative communication channel.
The General Plan is:
19:30 - Gathering, networking or individual work.
20:30 - Presentations and discussions with our speakers.
23:00 - Do your own stuff on keep networking.
02:00 - Lock down, We go to sleep.
