Overcoming Adversity as an Entrepreneur

Adversity is everywhere. To succeed and grow as an entrepreneur, resilience is necessary. This presentation will delve into the research done by the University of Pennsylvania that led to the Army’s Master Resilience Training program. We will discuss skills that can help you become more resilient today, so that adversity will not be a stumbling block, but a stepping stone to success.

David Amaya (http://davidamayahumanbeing.com/ibagari/) is an independent consultant, working in the field of software development for over 10 years. Adversities that faced David as a consultant led him to explore the body of scientific research regarding resilience, well-being and positive psychology. He now shares that research and what he has learned from it with businesses and individuals alike.
