LOPSA Cbus: Starting My MLOps Journey

In this talk I will describe what I have learned about Machine Learning Operations and the world of ML from the perspective of a Systems Engineer. I will describe what an MLOps Engineer is, what they do and things I have learned along my journey. I will discuss some of the tools that I am currently using in my day to day work, give a demo and give some useful tips for anyone interested in getting started in MLOps.

I recently started working as a Sr MLOps Engineer with Emburse where I am spending my days designing the first platform for Machine Learning and Data Science. Spent the last several years of my career working with and designing distributed systems for a wide variety of workloads. I love working in this fast moving tech industry and look forward to diving deep into the world of Machine Learning.
