Everyone has a habit or behavior that is not a barrier to being heard in a quiet, small room of peers. But the minute you change audiences, genres, goals or stages, the light shines brightly on that habit. This session will dig deeply into your role as a communicator, how to find your shaded habit and remove it as a barrier to hearing your ideas and insights. And our speakers have developed something of a specialization in helping analysts communicate, as they have provided speaker coaching for multiple years for both DataConnect and for posit:conf!

This will also be our second meetup this year that is tied to a book release! Ruth and Acacia are two of the co-authors of The Motivated Speaker: Six Principles to Unlock your Communication Potential, and they’ll stick around after the talk to sign copies of the book.
