ABOUT US:
We are an Austin-based in-person group of tech-enthusiasts and tech-skeptics discussing the modern state of technology, how it impacts our lives, and the implications of new technology on our futures.
The primary goal of this group is to discuss the ethics around new technology and current tech events. Topics could include: AI and the 2023 writers strike, genetic modification, modern dating apps, and 'invisible automation'.
No minimum knowledge or pre-requisites are required to join other than having an open mind and engaging in friendly discussions. The first part of each meeting will include learning about the topic so everyone starts with similar understanding. Snacks and beverages provided (your ticket goes towards providing these - thank you)!
