What we’re about
We are an Austin-based in-person group of people who seek to build community and create a space for intellectual conversations. While our main focus is on tech-ethics, we cover a variety of topics outside of technology such as genetic modification, modern dating apps, surveillance, and more! Our events are usually facilitated discussions that encourage people to share their thoughts in a space designed for open conversation. We look forward to seeing you at one of our events!

ABOUT US:
We are an Austin-based in-person group of tech-enthusiasts and tech-skeptics discussing the modern state of technology, how it impacts our lives, and the implications of new technology on our futures.
The primary goal of this group is to discuss the ethics around new technology and current tech events. Topics could include: AI and the 2023 writers strike, genetic modification, modern dating apps, and 'invisible automation'.No minimum knowledge or pre-requisites are required to join other than having an open mind and engaging in friendly discussions. The first part of each meeting will include learning about the topic so everyone starts with similar understanding. Snacks and beverages provided (your ticket goes towards providing these - thank you)!
