ABOUT THE EVENT:
We start the session by watching a video/reading a resource that explores a discussion topic and helps everyone start with similar understanding. Snacks and beverages provided!

EVENT NOTE:
We start together promptly at 6:30pm. Please arrive early.

ABOUT US:
We are an Austin-based in-person group of tech-enthusiasts and tech-skeptics discussing the modern state of technology, how it impacts our lives, and the implications of new technology on our futures.

The primary goals of this group are:
1. Discuss the ethics and impact of new technology and current tech events,
2. Meet others interested in having mentally stimulating discussions, and
3. Have fun and learn something new!

Topics have included: AI's impact on the music industry, genetic modification, modern dating apps, next-gen war tech, and 'invisible automation'.

TE is open to people with a wide range of tech understanding - no minimum knowledge or pre-requisites are required to join the group other than having an open mind and engaging in friendly discussions.

Content Guidance: Our conversations cover a wide range of topics that may include relationships, mental health, addiction, and more. The goal of these conversations is to engage in thought-provoking discussions with peers, but certain topics may be difficult for some people. If you have concerns about the potential topic, please reach out to the host for more details.
