As companies grow and they scale their product teams, the processes also need to evolve. Continuing with the same processes that delivered traction when the company was a small startup will feel like chaos as your company scales to more employees and teams. Even worse is reorganizing your teams like you’re a mega-corporation with a large staff, only to find that you spend more time coordinating, measuring, and reporting on the work than actually doing it. When problems arise, companies often blame the tool (Jira) rather than recognizing that the problem lies in their process.
This session will focus on best practices in Agile development for mid-sized product teams, helping you fix your process first, then your tool (Jira) to match it. This session is also an excerpt of a longer presentation given at the Atlassian Builders Summit.
