Thursday Night Sports: Volleyball (indoors)

Join us for indoor sports every Thursday night.

Co-ed (men and women), ages 16 and older.

Pick-up style games with a different sport every month! Have fun, meet new friends, and get great exercise.

February: indoor soccer
March: basketball
April: volleyball
May: volleyball (again)

Volleyball is a fast game. But ANYBODY can attend. Feel free to play, or feel free to sit on the sidelines and watch the game and socialize with other people there.

Personal note from Neighborhood group organizer Preston: I am not an athletic person or a sports person, but I gone to this event every week for the first three months (soccer in February, basketball in March, volleyball in April). I had a great time. And I'm planning to continue going to this regularly. Joe has come every week as well. Joe and I are among the older people who attend, but we are very much welcomed and have fun. There were people there in their teens, and twenties, and thirties, up through sixties. Mix of people who are married, and people who are single.

Location: This takes place in a gym (cultural hall) located in the middle of a church building. This is the same place where the Tempe Neighborhood Potluck group has played pickleball every Saturday for over a year.
