Diane Alleycat's Birthday/Cake-A-Palooza

Diane Alleycats is one of the neighborhood group's most active organizers of events. She is organizing this event and wrote:

Objective #1: Celebrate Diane’s birthday with a community of people!

Objective #2: Eat lots of cake! Or at least have a variety of cake flavor options to choose from.

We will need some main course/protein options so if you don’t have a favorite cake recipe, please bring an entrée. We definitely don’t want it to be JUST cake! Please include a list of ingredients used because some people, myself included, have food allergies. (Mine is tree nuts.)

If you eat a vegan or gluten-free diet, please bring a dish or cake that fits those diets because you will not be the only V or GF person there and I want this event to be as inclusive as possible.

I ask that there be no group singing of the Happy Birthday song because that many voices will make a lot of noise and a lot of noise is upsetting to me, especially in an enclosed-space. However, if the spirit moves you, I would not be opposed to hearing a group of folks singing snippets of Bohemian Rhapsody!

Birthday presents are *not required* because your presence is enough! But if you want to bring one, I like gift cards to Lowe’s and Home Depot because I enjoy painting and making cat shelves. Gift cards to places that sell cat food would also be appreciated (e.g. Amazon, Chewy, PetSmart, etc).

When you RSVP, please include what specific flavor of cake or main course you will be bringing so we don’t end up with a dozen different carrot cakes or bean dips or something! You can scroll down to see what is already on the list.
