Need to perform any simple fixes or create extra additions to your cosplay for FanCon? Come to our last-minute DIY costume drop-in! We'll provide supplies and materials to help you complete your look!

All ages are welcome, but children 15 and under must have adult supervision.

*Please note this is not an instructional class and staff can provide limited expertise.

Improv comedy is a theater style where an actor creates their actions in real time as they are doing them. Get more comfortable on-stage, boost your confidence, harness your public speaking skills, and alleviate stress while you do it. Guided by members of the MainStage cast at Bridge Improv Theater, the Tempe Library Improv Club is a great place to make new friends, have a few laughs, and rediscover that child-like playful creativity.

Join Tempe Public Library every 1st Thursday of the month for a casual yet refreshing stroll aimed at getting to know your community, discussing our latest and favorite reads, and enjoying the beautiful Tempe scenery - all while getting your steps in!

Please bring appropriate footwear, a water bottle, and anything else you may need for a 1-hour walk. There is no requirement to stay for the entire walk. Walks are weather permitting. Meet at the Parking Lot located by Kiwanis Lake - for directions, enter "The Cloud at Kiwanis" into Google or Apple Maps. Staff will be wearing lanyards for easy spotting.
