This program will explore how Deaf artists and community members use visual art, storytelling, culture, and lived experiences to express identity, accessibility, and community connection.
For ages 16+
Earl Terry is a Deaf educator, artist, curator, advocate, and founder of Gecko BASL + Protactile + ASL LLC and MDVAP (Melanated Deaf Visual Artists Project). His work centers Deaf culture, Black American Sign Language (BASL), Protactile, accessibility, storytelling, and community engagement through arts and education.
