Myths about bankruptcies:
Those homes are too trashed.
You can't buy a house in the middle of a bankruptcy.
They're too complicated for investors just getting started.
Only attorneys can work with the Bankruptcy Court and Trustee.
The court will never all me to have any of the equity.
The mortgages are upside down.
In this meeting we will dig deeper into what a Loan Modification looks like and how a borrower can obtain one. We will discuss the underwriting process and what the banks are looking for in order to get a modification completed. We will also discuss how bankruptcy effects a real estate transaction and the differences between a Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
The perspectives given in these trainings will come from the vantage point of an investor. Therefore, we will discuss how to navigate through each one of these processes and how it will effect your transaction.
