About us
🥾 Group Description: Ten 2 Go STL
Welcome to Ten 2 Go STL! We are an exclusive, small-group hiking community based right here in the St. Louis region, proudly powered by Inn 2 Inn STL.
Our concept is simple, energetic, and built for people who love the outdoors but appreciate good company and comfort: We build our trail legs locally so we can take on the world’s best lodge-to-lodge tracks later!
🏔️ How the Club Works
We host exactly one curated group event per month on a weekend morning. Every outing is structured around two core pillars:
- The Trail Challenge: We hit the best paths in the St. Louis area (ranging from the rugged ridges of Rockwoods Reservation to the breathtaking pine canopies of Hawn State Park). Our hikes are designed for conditioning and range from 5 to 10 miles each, depending on the month.
- The Post-Hike Social: We don't just pack up and drive home when the hike is over. We celebrate our miles immediately afterward by heading to a great local St. Louis hotspot—think historic delis on The Hill, vibrant patio breweries, or cozy neighborhood coffee shops—to connect, talk gear, and swap stories.
⏱️ Our Trail Pace & Style
• The Speed: We maintain a steady, athletic, but conversational hiking speed of 2.0 to 2.5 mph, adjusting naturally depending on the ruggedness or steepness of the Missouri terrain. This isn't a high-pressure race, but it is an invigorating conditioning walk designed to keep your heart pumping.
• No Heavy Packs: We focus on lightweight, efficient hiking. Bring a standard daypack with your hydration, trail snacks, and personal essentials—leave the heavy backcountry gear at home.
⚠️ The Rule of 10: Strict RSVP Cap
To keep our trail footprint low, maintain group safety, and make sure we can easily push tables together at our favorite local eateries without massive wait times, every single monthly hike is strictly capped at 10 participants total.
Because slots are exceptionally limited and highly coveted, our events operate on a first-come, first-served basis with a rolling waitlist. If you claim a spot, you are expected to show up ready to move!
🎒 Who is this Club For?
Whether you are an active professional trying to step up your local fitness, an outdoor enthusiast looking to discover hidden gem trails in your backyard, or a traveler dreaming of future international trekking adventures, you have a home here.
Hit the trail. Find your crowd. Let’s get moving, STL!

For our second official club event, we are heading back to Wildwood to conquer the rolling valleys of the Baebler Educational Farm Trail corridor. This 6.2-mile natural loop treats our group of 10 to a pristine, deep forest landscape winding through mature oak canopies, traversing limestone creek beds, and tackling sustained, heart-pumping hill climbs designed to test your trail endurance.
Because this trail is a hidden gem tucked away from the main parkway crowds, it offers a beautifully quiet, immersive woodland environment. It provides a perfect mid-length conditioning target to help you lock in your pacing strategy and test your footwear stability over natural terrain.***

🍔 The Post-Hike Social: TBD Local Hotspot
To keep things flexible and fun, our lunch and drinks venue is currently TBD as we finalize table footprints. However, staying true to our West County roots, we are eyeing some of the absolute best casual patios right in our immediate backyard—including the historic Route 66 indoor/outdoor bar setup at Big Chief Roadhouse, the golf simulators and huge burgers at Wildwood Pub and Grill, or the boutique wine and craft beer taps at Milk and Honey on Main Street. The finalized spot will be dropped in the comments area the week of the hike!2 attendees
