About us
We are a friendly group of Folk Dancers, some long-time dancers, others new to folk dancing, mostly retired. We dance every Monday morning from 10:30 - 12:00 and 2 Sundays afternoons a month (the 2nd and 4th Sunday) from 3:00 - 4:30. There is a $10 fee per session to pay the Church for the use of their large social hall with a great wood floor.
We dance to the music of different countries: Greece, Turkey, Macedonia, Albania, Romania, Hungary, Portugal and more.
Once or twice a year we invite well-known Folk Dance teachers to give a workshop where we learn several new dances to add to our repertoire.
We also participate in an annual NJ Folk Dance Festival, held at different locations each year.
