UPDATE **This meetup is limited by court space. If you RSVP (even on waiting list) and your plans change, PLEASE BE COURTEOUS & UPDATE YOUR RSVP. Also, please don't come if your RSVP is not confirmed. Everyone should bring a can of new tennis balls (available at most stores for approximately $3). Hi all! Although some players are more competitive than others, we play to have fun and get some exercise so feel free to come join us. We will try 8AM to start with, but let me know if you'd like to move it earlier or later. We are playing at the Heights (formerly John H. Reagan) High School tennis courts. It has two tennis courts located near 600 E. 13th St., between Heights Blvd. and Studewood St. Weather Forecast: https://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=pws:KTXHOUST452 There are several other free public parks in the area in case Reagan High School is taken or we have an overflow. Spotts Park / Inside the Loop - Thursday Edition

Spotts Park

Hi all! I was asked to setup a weekday tennis Meetup, so here it is. I can't usually play on Thursdays, so this will be an UNHOSTED Meetup. Join us to play singles/doubles on Thursdays at Spotts Park. Depending on the number of players, we will hit around, play singles if others are not waiting, or play doubles. Although some players are more competitive than others, we play to have fun and get some exercise so feel free to come join us. We will try 5PM to start with, but let me know if you'd like to move it earlier or later. We are playing at the Spotts Park tennis courts. It has two tennis courts located near 3501 Willia St., between Heights Blvd. and Memorial Dr. As a common courtesy, everyone should bring a can of new tennis balls, rather than hitting with old, flat, or dead tennis balls. Weather Forecast: https://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=pws:KTXHOUST452 There are several other free public parks in the area in case Spotts Park is taken or we have an overflow.
