About us

Welcome to That Exactly—an Adult ADHD & Neurodivergent Community built around connection, belonging, and real life. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, we welcome adults from Denver, across the Front Range, and beyond to our online gatherings, with occasional opportunities to connect in person.

If you've spent years feeling misunderstood, masking parts of yourself, or wondering why life seems harder than it "should," we hope you'll find something different here: a place where you don't have to explain yourself, earn your belonging, or pretend to have it all together. You get to show up exactly as you are.

This community was created to be the kind of place many of us wish we'd found sooner: a welcoming space where adults with ADHD and other neurodivergent experiences can connect, learn, laugh, grow, and be their authentic selves. Whether you're looking for accountability, practical strategies, meaningful friendships, or simply people who truly "get it," you're in the right place.

As someone who has ADHD myself and is deeply passionate about ADHD education and bringing people together, I started this community because I know how isolating life with ADHD can feel. My hope is that when you join us, you'll discover what so many of us have been missing: a community where you're met with understanding, compassion, and people who genuinely get it—whether you're celebrating a win, feeling stuck, or simply showing up as yourself.

We offer a variety of recurring virtual and occasional in-person events, including body doubling, educational discussions, mindfulness, routine-building, productivity sessions, self-care, social events, Walk & Talks, Coffee Chats, creative activities, and community service opportunities. Whether you're here to get things done, learn more about your brain, make genuine friends, or simply spend time with people who understand, there's a place for you here.

Our community is centered around the adult ADHD experience while warmly welcoming many members who identify as AuDHD or have other neurodivergent experiences. We are proudly LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating a safe, compassionate community where everyone feels seen, valued, supported, and accepted—exactly as they are.

We're so glad you're here, and we can't wait to meet you.

A supportive space to finally tackle those
brain-heavy tasks you’ve been putting off.

If you’ve been circling the same to-do list all week—
avoiding, overthinking, or not knowing where to start—you’re not alone.
This space exists to help you get unstuck and just begin.

Not perfectly.
Not all at once.
Just one task, one step, with people alongside you.

💻 What this is:

A virtual body doubling session where we work independently, but together—
creating a focused, encouraging environment that helps your brain settle in and find its flow.

Whether you're:

  • drafting an essay
  • planning your week
  • organizing your finances
  • tackling a work project

—you don’t have to do it alone.

🧠 How we’ll start:

We’ll do a quick round of names and intentions—nothing fancy.
Something like: “I’m Kat, and I’m planning out my week.”

Simple, specific, and doable.

If you’re running late, no stress—just drop your intention in the chat and jump in.

🎥 A note on cameras:

We strongly encourage keeping your camera on (as much as you can).
That visual accountability is what makes body doubling so effective—it helps all of us stay present and engaged.

⏱️ Session Structure:

9:10 – 9:13 AM (MT): Arrive, settle in, get your space ready
9:13 – 9:20 AM: Set intentions (spoken preferred, chat works too)

9:20 – 10:05 AM: Body Doubling / Independent Task Time
10:05 – 10:10 AM: Short break
10:10 – 10:55 AM: Body Doubling / Independent Task Time

10:55 – 11:00 AM: Celebrate + quick check-out

✨ This isn’t about being productive for the sake of it.
It’s about being supported while you do something that matters to you.
