🎶 Second Saturdays Summer Concert Series
Let’s enjoy a summer evening together in Olde Town Arvada for the Second Saturdays Concert Series!
We’ll be joining the larger Olde Town Arvada community event together as a group while enjoying live music, fresh air, and the chance to connect with fellow ADHDers and neurodivergent humans in the community.
Dance to the music, wander around, sit and chat, explore the area, or relax on a blanket or in a chair where you can enjoy the music as part of the atmosphere without being fully immersed in the crowd. There’s no “right” way to participate here.
For many of us, this may be the first time we meet in person, which makes this an especially meaningful opportunity to connect beyond the screen. 💛
It’s not often I find myself in this part of the state, which makes this feel like a bit of an adventure for me too. 😊 I’m excited for the opportunity to explore somewhere different together while sharing a summer evening with community.
Full transparency: I’ve actually never attended this event before either, so we’ll get to experience it together for the first time.
This is a public community event, so there will likely be a mix of families, groups, music lovers, and community members throughout the evening. Because of that, the environment may feel stimulating at times, especially closer to the stages and later in the evening as crowds grow.
Feel free to come and go throughout the event, wander as needed, take breaks, or participate in whatever way feels best for your nervous system.
Feel free to bring:
- A blanket or lawn chair
- Sensory supports/fidgets
- Water/snacks
- Anything that helps you stay comfortable outdoors
- Your authentic self
🎶 July 11 Lineup
Square Stage
5:00–6:00 PM → The Midnight Soulbirds
7:00–8:30 PM → Neighborhood Soundtrack (Headliner)
Bank Stage
6:00–7:00 PM → Funk it Up
8:30–10:00 PM → May Be Fern (Headliner)
Please note: Colorado weather likes to keep us humble. ⛈️ If we end up with moody weather, we may need to cancel or adjust plans.
As the event gets closer, I’ll reach out to attendees so we can coordinate a meetup spot and make sure we have an easy way to find each other.
