✨ Come As You Are: An Evening at the Manitou Springs Drum Circle 🥁

Sometimes it's nice to step away from the to-do lists, get outside, and experience something a little different.

This Thursday, we're doing something a little different.

We're heading to the Manitou Springs Drum Circle—a long-standing community gathering where people come together to make music, move, create, connect, and enjoy a summer evening outdoors.

There is no agenda.
No expectation to participate.
No experience required.

Just an opportunity to spend an evening surrounded by rhythm, creativity, community, and fresh air.

Some people drum.
Some dance.
Some hula hoop, paint, knit, juggle, or work on a creative project.
Some bring a picnic dinner.
Some wander through the crowd and meet new people.
Some sit quietly in a lawn chair and simply enjoy the atmosphere.

There is no right way to experience it.
Every way of showing up is welcome.

For those of us who spend a lot of time thinking, planning, masking, managing, and navigating life in our own unique ways, there can be something surprisingly refreshing about gathering in a space where nothing needs to be accomplished and nobody expects you to be anything other than yourself.

Whether you're coming for the music, the people, the experience, or simply an excuse to get out of the house, I'd love for you to join us.

🎒 What to Bring
• A blanket or folding chair
• Water and/or snacks
• Layers for the evening
• A drum or percussion instrument if you have one (optional)
• Whatever helps you feel comfortable

☀️ Weather
This event takes place outdoors and is weather dependent. If Colorado decides to Colorado, we'll adjust our plans accordingly.

Please note that this is a public community event that we'll be attending together as a Meetup group.
