📌 Tackle That Toleration Tuesday
Details
Hey, can we talk about this thing we all do?
You know...
The pile.
The email.
The appointment.
The thing that needs to be returned.
The thing that's been sitting on the counter so long it has become part of the decor.
The five-minute task that somehow still hasn't happened.
Why do we do this?!
More importantly... What would happen if we finally dealt with some of it?
Tolerations are all those little things we learn to live with—the stuff we step over, work around, ignore, postpone, or stop noticing altogether. One by itself usually isn't a big deal, but when you have dozens of them, they start taking up a surprising amount of mental bandwidth.
And when our brains are busy keeping track of all that extra stuff, it's a lot harder for them to sparkle and shine.
What We'll Do:
âš¡ Talk about tolerations, how to spot them, and why they matter
âš¡ Identify a few tolerations that may be taking up more space than they deserve
âš¡ Choose one or two tolerations to focus on
âš¡ Work alongside one another during two time blocks of body doubling
âš¡ Check in, reflect, celebrate wins, and share takeaways
The goal isn't to fix everything.
The goal is simply to notice what's been taking up space and choose one thing to move forward.
Maybe you'll finish it.
Maybe you'll make progress.
Maybe you'll finally send the email that's been quietly following you around for three weeks.
Maybe you'll realize the toleration you thought was ready to be tackled today isn't quite ready.
Whatever happens, that's okay.
Every toleration we address creates a little more space in our brains and a little more breathing room in our lives.
So let's stop stepping over the thing.
Let's stop walking around the thing.
Let's stop thinking about the thing.
Let's do the thing—together. 💜
