What we’re about
The 11th House is the house of Friendship and Community in Western Astrology.
This group aims to create a community (online and in person) based on the shared values of authenticity, vulnerability, honesty, self-empowerment, and mutual support.
Offerings include 1:1 sessions, classes, courses, workshops, and retreats spanning from yoga to meditation, to family constellations and therapeutic art, to women's circles, support for new mothers, and rites of passage ceremonies.
The founder of The 11th House- Maria (aka Ma Shakti)- is a visual artist, holistic practitioner, and university lecturer with a strong background in yoga and esoteric practices. Originally from Italy, she lived, trained, and worked in London for the last 15 years, and recently moved to Leicester.

Family and systemic constellations create a safe and confidential space where personal issues can be explored. In just one session, it can help to reveal and shift unconscious intergenerational dynamics that silently play in the background, stirring the course of our lives. Sometimes the smallest of movements in the system can help to restore the flow of love among its members and transform our lives for the better.

Maria has 13 years of experience in holding holistic workshops and retreats. She is a yoga teacher, university lecturer, and visual artist. She graduated from the Centre for Systemic Constellations, the oldest institution in the UK for Family Constellations. Her teachers- Gaye Donaldson, Sheila McCarthy-Dodd, and Chris Williams- studied directly with Hellinger and Hunter Beaumont. To learn more about Maria's other training, click here.USEFUL INFO
There are limited issue holder tickets and each constellation will usually last 20-60 min, so there will be enough time for four or more pieces. Because we are interconnected, everyone will be moved in some way by each constellation. If you book an issue holder place, please email the11thhouse.le@gmail.com for the health questionnaire.You should not attend and seek other specialist support if you have had recent episodes of psychosis, schizophrenia, or other severe mental health problems.
Maria is committed to making the work as accessible as possible. If you are called to this work but find the cost prohibitive, please, email her directly. There are usually a couple of places at reduced cost for each workshop.

All participants will receive an email update the day before the workshop. I suggest that you bring a packed lunch. We will have a one-hour break for lunch and you will have access to the beautiful ground of the Botanic Gardens for reflection, journaling, or sharing experiences.
