About us
This is an opportunity to try different restaurants throughout the Bay Area. We will meet on the 6th of every month at 6:00 PM and limit to 6 people, but I will try to expand when possible.
Since I like to mix-things-up and keep it fresh, Saturdays will be a progressive meal and will usually begin around 4:00 pm ish and Sundays are reserved for restaurants outside our normal range and will begin at 5:00 pm. Also, and only occasionally, I will select a high-end restaurant - we've done Manresa and Adega already!
The geographic area will typically be from San Carlos to San Jose. The venues and the cost will be diverse; take a peek at our past events.
Please don't be discouraged by the Waitlist; there is always a Waitlist and many people drop-off the last week so give us a try. We do have a core group, but we do love when new people attend and we are very warm and welcoming.

ANNIVERSARY THROWBACK Progressive Meal Little Italy in San Jose

I am going to kinda sorta triple-down on Italian cuisine for this progressive in Little Italy. Below is a loose itinerary. The details are below:
4:00 PM - Enoteca La Storia - for wine and small bites - directly across the street from Poor House Bistro: address is: 320 W. St. John's Street, San Jose, CA 95110
5:30 PM - Famiglia Meduri's Poor House Bistro - for dinner as Paesano is closed on Sunday's; and
7:00 PM ish - Italian Cellar Speakeasy - prohibition era for Italian specialty cocktails and made to order cannoli. They close at 8:00 PM so we should mozy over at 7:00 PM.
There is an afternoon event at SAP center and it is a holiday weekend, but hopefully there should be ample metered parking. Alternatively, there is a small lot to your left when you enter the one-way Little Italy District.
Poor House Bistro does not take reservations, but I was able to secure a table for 10 outside. They play live music on Sundays and you order on your own inside.
