Duo Mehmet Polat & Daniel van Huffelen

Virtuoso ud player and composer Mehmet Polat brings together top musicians from the jazz world and creates an innovative sound with instruments from various traditions. His own compositions are colored by daring improvisations and compelling grooves. Mehmet switches freely between simple and complex odd meters, resulting in refreshing music that combines folk music from all over the world with the expressive freedom of contemporary jazz. On March 16th, Mehmet and Daniel will perform a special selection from the quartet repertoire. This is a unique opportunity to see and hear these two master musicians live. Don't miss it!
