This meetup is focused on a relaxed walk and exploration of Marken.
We will not follow a strict route — instead, we’ll casually explore together while enjoying:

• The iconic wooden houses and historic streets
• The picturesque harbor area
• Small bridges and quiet residential neighborhoods
• Optional walk toward the lighthouse (Paard van Marken) for those who want a longer scenic route

Marken is a former island (now connected by a dike) with a rich fishing history and preserved traditions, giving it a truly unique atmosphere in the Netherlands.
Please note that Marken is also a residential area — kindly respect the privacy of local residents while exploring.
