“Eye(s) Open – New Perspectives on Colonial Film Heritage”
This exhibition presents contemporary artistic perspectives on historical colonial film archives from Indonesia and Suriname. Through film, video, and digital works, the exhibition explores themes such as memory, representation, and historical perspective.
The museum also offers the permanent exhibition “What is Film?”, featuring interactive installations and the evolution of cinema history.
