About us

The Anchor is a local community for fathers who want real friendships, meaningful conversations, and good men to do fatherhood alongside.

Between work, family, responsibilities, and everything life throws at us, it can be surprisingly hard for dads to build genuine friendships with other fathers. The Anchor gives us somewhere local to connect, laugh, talk about the things that actually matter, hear different perspectives, and build community without having to pretend we have everything figured out.

We meet every other week for "Anchor Circles", relaxed two-hour gatherings centered around one fatherhood topic. Conversations may cover relationships, work, stress, parenting, identity, health, the way we were raised, and the kind of fathers we want to become.

We also get together once a month for fun outings like breakfast, bowling, Topgolf, cookouts, hikes, sporting events, and occasional dad-and-kids or family activities.

No pressure to share anything you don't want to.

You do not need to know anyone before coming. You do not have to attend every event. You do not have to be a perfect father.

Just come as you are.

Real connection for real fatherhood.

The Anchor is based in Peachtree Corners and welcomes fathers from Peachtree Corners, Norcross, Berkeley Lake, Duluth, and surrounding communities.

Anchor Circles are hosted at Rise Family Chiropractic in Peachtree Corners.
