Stone Temples and Fertility Goddesses

This sessions' theme is the Human Body. It will be an unusual program because it will be in an Art Gallery and take place during an Exhibition of Drawings by 16 Artists of a Life (nude) Model. The Program will include images of several Stone Age Temples in Ireland and Malta, and some of the artifacts. We'll look at images of Fertility Figures, found there and throughout the World, like this "Venus" from Hohlefels in Germany. This will be followed by a chance to make your own version of what you have seen using self hardening clay. Then, sharing your results with the group. Artistic ability not required.
Reasonably priced refreshments will be available and I ask for a small donation for the Clay. I think it should be a lot of fun.
