What we’re about
Archaeology, history, religions, culture, art, ... everything about how people lived and worked in the past and in other cultures. This is not your typical guided museum tour but a chance to explore on your own while exchanging ideas with other group members, and go further than just looking. We try to zero in on a specific topic or question. After every Museum stroll we meet over coffee to discuss our responses to what we saw and enjoy some kind of activity that will focus on a specific aspect of the visit. For example when we visited the Samurai Museum we practiced Japanese Calligraphy with real Sumi brushes, paper and ink. There are usually handouts on the topic.Join us if you interested in hanging out, visiting museums and exhibitions together, meeting people with similar interests, and exchanging knowledge about the past.
