The Art of Getting Lost Together 🌄

What if travelling was less about seeing places and more about experiencing them?

I'm looking for curious people who enjoy nature, movement, good food and places that don't necessarily appear on everyone's travel list.

This time, I want to take you to my home region: Basilicata, in Southern Italy.

A place where, within a couple of hours, you can move from wild Mediterranean beaches to mountains above 2,000 metres, walk through ancient forests and lunar clay landscapes, discover traces of ancient civilizations and end up eating homemade pasta around someone's table.

• Hiking through the wild landscapes of the Pollino the largest Italian Park
• Walking between the oldest trees in Europe with +1230y
• Getting lost among the desert of clay calanchi
• Skiitouring and snoweshoing looking at two seas
• Exploring Matera and rocky caves from +10.000y ago
• Cooking and eating with the local grandma
• Cycling, climbing or simply slowing down chilling at the beach
• Sharing stories, food and time with a small group

We leave some space for the unexpected moving, exploring, connecting with people and experiencing a different rhythm of life.

And maybe staying a little longer?!
I live between the Netherlands and Southern Italy myself. If you can work remotely, Basilicata can also be a surprisingly accessible place to spend a few quiet weeks: affordable living, great food, sea, forests and mountains without any crowds.

# Who am I?

I'm Vittorio, a Nature & Hiking Guide living between the Netherlands and Southern Italy. I also work in the IT industry, for a Dutch company and I have the possibility to nurrish my couriosity for the nature by sharing it with people building different experiences in the South of Italy.
