The Art of Noticing: Finding Peace in God’s Creation
A slow nature walk for busy minds.
When was the last time you went for a walk without trying to accomplish something?
No step goal. No keeping pace. No pressure to fill the silence.
When life is full, even our free time can become another opportunity to be productive. And sometimes we’re so caught up in our thoughts that we barely notice what’s right in front of us.
This is an invitation to slow down and experience what you might usually walk past.
Join me for a gently guided nature walk, spent mostly in silence, as we explore the art of noticing—the patterns on a leaf, birds calling overhead, sunlight coming through the trees, and the small wonders of God’s creation.
We’ll begin with a short welcome and a simple reflection, then walk at an unhurried pace with room to pause, look closely, and take it all in. We’ll finish with an opportunity to share something we noticed and a brief prayer.
If slowing down feels unfamiliar or even a little uncomfortable, you’re welcome here. It’s something we can practice together.
My hope is that you’ll leave with a little more peace, a sense of connection, and a way of noticing beauty that you can carry into everyday life, even when life still feels hard.
Come on your own or bring a friend who would enjoy sharing some quiet. Comfortable shoes and a willingness to slow down are all you need.
This is a slow, reflective walk with frequent pauses. All adults are welcome.
