Featuring all types of entertainment, costume contest, over 200 vendors, food trucks, ONE OF THE LARGEST GATHERINGS OF THE STAR WARS GROUP 501ST, costume contest, the largest science fiction car show in the continental United States
( with almost 200 cars in attendance) ,
The SYFY BARTOW PAGEANT, all the downtown businesses are open including restaurants, consignment shops, antique stores and our local comic book shop.

Hello Everyone,
Tomorrow Feb. 15th will be our photo walk In Bartow Florida for the Outdoor, Syfy Convention. I had originally posted the event would start at 2:00pm but it has become apparent that some would like to start earlier. Well okay then, let’s have two meetups this day.
Let’s have a meetup at 10:30 and another one at 2:00 for those coming in a little later. Cem, one of our members who attended the event last year suggested the Unfiltered Coffee Shop located at 160 Broadway Ave. in Bartow. This location will put us right next to Main Street for easy access to the convention. I am not familiar with the parking situation there so give yourself a little time to figure that out. Looks like it’s going to be a nice day to be outside so be prepared for sun and maybe a little heat.
