Introduction to Star Trails Photography Workshop: Session Three, Post processing Star Trails
Tuesday May 13th 7:00 to 9:00
Panara Bread 2285 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater, Florida
Star Trail is a type of photograph that uses long exposure times to capture diurnal circles, the apparent motion of stars in the night sky due to Earth's rotation.
Session Three will be a post processing workshop at Panera. I will demonstrate my editing techniques in Lightroom Classic as well as stacking the star tails in the StarStax stacking program. Then I will finish by blending in the light painted and / or golden hour images in Photoshop.
I will be editing my captures in real time and projecting them to a screen. I know that some of you would like to bring your laptop and follow along. That of course will not be forbidden. However, I have a large amount of information to cover. Please understand if you fall behind and I cannot stop to help you. I suggest that you simply sit back and enjoy the show.
Fee: free
If you still intend to edit with me, you will need to bring a laptop with the following software installed and ready to use.
· Lightroom Classic
· Photoshop
· StarStax (for windows and mac)
Additionally, you will need a series of star and foreground captures to edit and blend.
