The Art Of Photography - Sarasota / Venice

You are invited to join Chuck Campbell, our event host, for this FREE light painting workshop in St. Petersburg. This will be a fun event open to all levels of photographers.
You will be adding a new artistic photography skill to your toolbox while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow members of The Art of Photography (TAOP) group.
Before sunset, we will discuss the steps, equipment, camera settings, and techniques needed to create some one-of-a-kind images. Then once the sun sets, we will start creating our colorful images.
When you sign up Chuck will send you a detailed sheet of the tools he uses to create the images. For this workshop, he will provide the lights and color tubes for you to use during the workshop.
Meeting place
Due to a downtown drone event in St. Petersburg on Saturday evening Oct. 18th we are Well as the saying goes, “there is nothing more consistent than change.”
changing our Light Painting event location. This is not a cancellation, just a location change. We will be meeting at Gandy Beach on Gandy Blvd. just before Gandy Bridge**. If you go too far and get on the bridge, you will not be able to turn around until you get to the Tampa side. So, be careful**. Check out attached PDF.

Workshop Leader - Chuck Campbell
Chuck has taught photography courses and has led many workshops and field trips over the past 20 years. Chuck will provide instructions and tips to help you create some exciting images during this workshop and make this a great learning experience.
CONTEST
Once the meetup ends, we will create an album for you to post your three (3) best photographs from the event.
The winning photo will become the permanent album cover for the event.
Anyone clicking the photo will see the winner’s name, photograph title, and feedback on the image received from other photographers.

Instructions:
✅ Upload only ONE photo to the Session album AFTER you see the “Welcome …” photo slide (AFTER 5 pm on Sunday and BEFORE the day of the Sat/Sun of the Session).
✅ You must be attending in order for your image to be reviewed during a session.
✅ A maximum of 30 photographs will be considered for review as time and content allow.
✅ Following the sessions the albums will be deleted after 5 pm on Sunday. If you wish to save your image and comments move your photo to the PHOTOGRAPHERS OPEN FORUM album.
