You are cordially invited to join our group in this “photo adventure” with great learning possibilities to expand your photographic know-how and add to your portfolio of great images... Be ready to practice street, architecture, and documentary photography during this photo walk event. This is a guided hands-on opportunity to create great images of the interesting Bayside Market Place in Downtown Miami and its surroundings along Biscayne Blvd, such as: Miami Freedom Tower, Miami Arena, the Friendship Torch, and more.

The workshop leader / instructor (Rafael) taught photography classes at all levels (including digital editing software) for Broward County’s “My Community" School and has personally led field photography outings for over 15 years through Broward and Miami-Dade counties and will be available all along this shoot for specific tips, technical consultation, and photography information to capture better images and make this a memorable learning experience for you - This workshop is a “One-of-a-Kind” technically supported photoshoot with attention to practical learning for which there is a $10 fee.

-PARTICIPANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE IN PROTECTING THEMSELVES AND OTHER GROUP MEMBERS AGAINST POSSIBLE VIRUS CONTAMINATION / IT'S IMPLICITLY AFFIRMED (IN THIS AND ALL MEETUP OUTINGS) THAT EACH ATTENDING PARTICIPANT IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS/HER OWN ACTIONS, PROTECTION, AND SAFEKEEPING-

UPDATE FOR TOMORROW
EVERYTHING POINTS TO A GOOD MORNING FOR OUR PHOTOSHOOT… At 10:00 AM it’s forecasted to be mostly cloudy (89% cloud coverage) with temperatures in the high 80s, some chances of rain and winds around 5 mph.

WE’LL MEET AT BAYSIDE'S MARKETPLACE MAIN ENTRANCE -ALONG BISCAYNE BLVD- IN THE FLAGS AREA AT 10:00 AM… to exchange technical information, review what to expect, collect the $10 MeetUp fee, go over some technical guidance, and talk about the many good photo opps in the area.

IMPORTANT, Bayside Marketplace has a garage parking BUT there is plenty of “paid parking” along Biscayne Blvd. just across from the main entrance.

Don’t forget to… Charge your battery, check memory card, clean camera and lens, and gather other items you may want to take. I recommend packing light so you are comfortable and can move around easily. Bring water if you’ll like but there are many cafeterias in the Marketplace. Tripods are not advisable due to impediments with foot traffic.
