TAOP MIAMI - LINCOLN RD & SOUTH BEACH (MIAMI BEACH) FIELD PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

You are cordially invited to join our group and PRACTICE THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING LOCATIONS IN SOUTH FLORIDA on great street, architecture, and documentary Photography. Be ready to anticipate the “decisive moment” of street photography AND how to plan and compose for static elements (Art Deco, Miami Modern -MiMo buildings, and beachscapes) before pressing the camera shutter to capture a memorable image.

We’ll meet at the NE Corner of Lincoln Road and Pennsylvania Ave (at H&M’s store at 552 Lincoln Road 33139) at 10:00 A. [You can park at the PARKING GARAGE, addressed as 640 17 Street, Miami Beach (33139) - that’s very close to our meeting place]
NOTE that… all types of imaging equipment (iPhones / Smart Phones / Cameras) can make great artistic creations and are appropriate for our photowalks

We'll start with a photo stroll along Lincoln Road (a vision of “Fifth Avenue” in the South, designed as the first pedestrian mall by architect Morris Lapidus) to Washington Avenue. From there, we’ll get the (FREE) South Beach Trolley to South Beach and walk towards and along Ocean Drive for the best part of our photowalk… packs of tourists, art deco buildings and epic beach scenery!

The workshop leader (Rafael) has taught photography classes -at all levels, and has led many field photography outings for over 15 years through Broward and Miami-Dade and will walk along this photoshoot for specific tips, consultation, and photography information to capture better images and make this a memorable learning experience - This workshop is a “One-of-a-Kind” technically supported photoshoot with attention to practical learning for which there is a $10 fee.

REMEMBER that it’s NOT THE EQUIPMENT you bring that’s creating your best work… it’s your disposition to make only good images, so please confirm that all is working fine! Consider bringing water -if you like but there are restaurants and cafeterias in the area, and don’t forget protection from the sun.
