THIS IS A INTERMEDIATE But SLOWER PACED SOCIAL RIDE
THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER RIDE
All Riders must be comfortable and experienced mountain biking. Expect a moderate pace, narrow trails, technical terrain, and significant elevation gains.
All Riders must be comfortable on a mountain bike. We plan to ride everything in Bent Creek but at a slower pace than Mondays ride. We’ll ride single track trails, some technical terrain, and expect elevation gains.
This ride provides a welcoming environment for riders who are comfortable riding single track trails but might be uncomfortable on advanced rides. While we'll use gravel roads to connect trails, our focus will be on having fun and improving skills on singletrack.
Where we ride and what we do will be determined by who shows up and what we want to learn and explore. Generally, the ride will cover around 10 miles and 1,000 - 1,500 ft of elevation gain.
Details:
• A mountain bike is required.
• Helmets are required and biking gloves are recommended.
• Please bring your own water, snacks, and a spare inner tube.
• If bad weather is predicted we'll post as early as possible.
• We'll leave the lot at 2:30PM: it'd be best to be there by 2:20PM!
• We'll try to time our rides to end just before it gets too dark to ride.
• Parking is limited. Arriving early and carpooling are recommended!
• Ride is entirely at your own risk. You assume all responsibility for your own well-being.
