What is Somatic Sunday?
A space to move, heal, and reconnect with your body through nourishing movement, nervous system support and somatic education, and the power of community.
If you’ve been craving a space to:
- Feel more at home in your body
- Move in a way that’s intuitive, freeing, fun & deeply nourishing
- Release tension and awaken your inner wisdom
- Be held in a supportive, soul-led community…
This is for you.
Once a month, we’ll gather at Seven Springs Retreat Center—where each session is intuitively guided, blending:
- A Qoya-inspired movement class (dance, yoga, & feminine movement)
- Somatic, trauma-informed education & tools to support your healing journey
- Grounding & connection in nature—whether it’s dancing in the open-air yoga shala, walking the labyrinth, or drawing inspiration from the land.

Praise for Somatic Sunday:
"As someone new to somatic practices, I wasn’t sure what to expect but attending Somatic Sundays has been truly transformative. Over the past few months, I’ve gone to three sessions and have already noticed meaningful improvements in both my body and mind.
Each session provides a safe and welcoming space where I can be fully myself. There’s a sense of comfort and connection not only within my own body but also with the other women who attend. The group is incredibly supportive, non-judgmental, and caring, which has helped me feel at ease and open throughout this journey.
Through these sessions, I’ve learned how to release tension and become more grounded and centered. The practices have not only helped me in the moment but have also given me tools I can carry into my daily life. Whether I’m dealing with stress, anxiety, or just a hectic day, I now have ways to return to myself and find calm.
I’m deeply grateful for this experience and look forward to continuing this path of healing and growth."Somatic Sunday Sister
Never heard of Qoya? Here are what past attendees had to say:
“The Qoya class at our Women’s Retreat was my most favorite part of the weekend. From the music to the setup to the instructor, Meg- everything was perfection. The movement allowed me to really tap into and feel that goddess divine feminine energy within and I left with a newfound sense of liberation and freedom within myself. Highly recommend a Qoya class led by Meg. Magical.” Courtney, Indiana
“I’ve never heard of Qoya so I went in without expectation. Qoya allowed me to connect with my body and emotions in a way that I had never done before. To move and acknowledge the feelings coming up and to release through movement was liberating. Qoya and Meg, together, are perfection. I’m excited to attend another class and share it with other women. It’s simply magical.” Jen, Knoxville, TN
“In my journey to find my inner peace & release energy that’s not so good, Qoya helped me in doing that and so much more. It is a fun, energetic, and spiritual way to express who you are and meet great friends along your journey. If you haven’t tried Qoya yet, you need to. Meg is an exceptional coach.” Stacy, Knoxville
“I was feeling quite a bit of discomfort in my body the day of the class, and wasn’t sure how my body was going to respond. Meg guided such a beautiful journey of movement, sharing & dance. By the end of the session, I felt lighter, more open and my muscles felt more relaxed. It was the perfect energy boost – for body and soul! If I had to pick one word to describe the experience, it would be *Uplifting* Meg is a genuine, loving guide who makes everyone feel welcome and supported to show up exactly as they are.” Dana, California
“It was balm for my soul.” Ella, Knoxville
