This is a network of Los Angeles-based musicians who are passionate about improvisation, jamming and having a great time. This group is dedicated to the art of Music Improvisation only.

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for musicians of all ages and background to join us. Mid level and up. (mid level: enough knowledge/creativity to be able to contribute to a rhythm. Basic knowledge of tonalities, depending on instrument, although more than crazy skills, we need ideas! and a great attitude)
This is NOT for beginners, but musicians who can join a groove, rhythm, tonality and contribute to the magic of jamming. Let's be creative!
Spread the word with anyone you think would be a good fit to the group, again... a great attitude is mandatory.
We'll do the best to curate each sessions to avoid having 5 guitarist, but a great balanced group everytime.
We'll explore rhythms that allows for improvisation while keeping the groove interesting. (examples but not limited to: funk, afro-beat, reggae, acid jazz, cumbia, psychedelic rock, blues, etc).
Basic Group Rules:
-Bring your best attitude and creative chops.
-Confirm if you are attending or not, THERE IS LIMITED CAPACITY per event, so if you RSVP but cant go, please update to let someone else go. (2 no-shows and you are out of the group). Please don't show up without signing up.
-BE PUNCTUAL. This is extremely important since we'll have locations with time restrictions. The sessions are between 3 to 4 hours. Let’s not waste time!
-If the event is full, join the waitlist. most likely someone won't be able to attend opening a spot, keep checking.
-DRUMMERS: The studio no longer provides crash cymbals, so you need to bring your own.
-FOR GUITARISTS ONLY: Due to the high number of guitarists in the group, consecutive jams wont be allow. (Cant's attend back-to-back jams) This is to allow and encourage new musicians to experience these jams.
-No guests, unless noted.
-Leave your egos at home.
-No shredders, no divas!
-Bring your gear. Drummers, check per location (most locations have a drumset) Exposition studios no longer provides crash cymbals, so you need to bring your own.)
-No drunks, no junkies. This is a family friendly group.
