We're The Bestie Club - a Lyon-based collective created by friends who arrived in the city with no network, no ready-made friend group...

We believe in one very simple thing: making friends as an adult is hard, but it is absolutely not impossible!

We create events where people can actually meet, talk, laugh, share, and feel like they belong somewhere.

Think cosy book clubs 📚, pop culture quizzes 🎬, creative workshops 🎨, café meetups ☕, walks 🌿, crafty afternoons, themed evenings, and other little social experiments designed to make meeting people feel less awkward and more human.
We talk about books, films, music, art, fashion, internet culture, identity, feelings, random niche obsessions, and whatever comes up when the vibe is right 🎧

If you have ever felt:

new in the city,
alone in a room full of people,
tired of events where everyone stays in their own group,
too shy to start the conversation,
or just in need of a genuinely nice moment to share with other people,

At The Bestie Club, coming alone is completely normal. Actually, it is kind of the whole point. You do not need to bring a friend, be super extroverted, speak perfect English or French. You can just show up as you are 🌈

Our events are bilingual and made to be low-pressure. We love spaces where people can connect naturally, without forced networking energy or the feeling that everyone already knows each other except you.

We are building a community around kindness, curiosity, creativity, pop culture, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences 🤝

Basically, we prepare for you:

events where people actually talk to each other,
parties with a little more meaning,
creative moments where you can make things and meet people,
places where coming alone is normal,
and situations where leaving with new besties is very, very possible 💌
