About us
The Blog Jam Collective Society is a casual meetup for anyone who enjoys blogging, or wants to give it a try. Think of it like a jam session, but with words instead of music: we get together, share ideas, talk through what we're working on, and spend some time actually writing. You don't need to be a pro or have a big audience. Curiosity and a willingness to show up are plenty.
Some sessions we'll trade prompts and see where they take us, other times we'll workshop a rough draft, troubleshoot a stubborn post, or just sit quietly and write alongside each other. If you'd like feedback, we're happy to offer it thoughtfully and kindly. If you'd rather keep your draft to yourself, that's completely fine too.
Whether you blog about food, code, grief, gardening, local history, or nothing in particular yet, you're welcome here. Bring a laptop or a notebook and whatever you're currently thinking about. We're mostly hoping to make blogging feel a little less solitary, and to help each other keep going.
