Do you care about what you eat? This is a group of folks who want to support local, humanely raised, environmentally sustainable, fairly traded, "green" food. Thinking about joining a CSA? Maybe considering a tomato plant on your balcony this spring? How bout a new compost bin for your backyard? Maybe you work on or own a farm in Massachusetts? Or sit on the board of a an urban non-profit that brings produce to people in need......or you're a policy student, interested in finding ways of lobbying for the small organic food producers. We're all members of a community of food-lovers!! So let's get together and do what we do best - eat!

Boston JerkFest Caribbean Foodie Festival
Ohiri Field, 65 N Harvard Street, Boston, MA, USJoin us for the 13th Annual Boston JerkFest, July 10–12, 2026, at the Harvard Athletic Complex’s Ohiri Soccer Field in Allston.
Boston JerkFest is a three-day celebration of Caribbean food, culture, music, and community, with a focus on food traditions, sustainability, local vendors, and the stories behind the ingredients that shape Caribbean cuisine. From Scotch bonnet peppers and allspice to thyme, seafood, and island-style barbecue, the festival highlights how food connects people to culture, land, migration, resilience, and community.
The weekend kicks off Friday evening with the 21+ Rum & Brew Tasting and Concert. Saturday’s Caribbean Foodie Festival features authentic jerk cuisine, local restaurants, small food businesses, the Jerk Cook-Off, Seafood Throwdown featuring local seafood, sustainable chef demos, live music, and family-friendly cultural programming. Sunday closes with a FREE Community Day and Community Soccer Fest focused on women in soccer, bringing together food, outdoor activities, games, and community connection.
For anyone interested in sustainable food systems, local seafood, culturally rooted cooking, small food businesses, and community-centered food events, Boston JerkFest is a flavorful summer gathering not to miss.
