Hear the dramatic story of the first submarine to sink a ship. Known as the “Fish Boat,” the Civil War-era Hunley Submarine was an innovation of design and construction. See artifacts similar to those recovered from this famous ship. The slide presentation includes up-to-date information on its conservation and clues to its mysterious disappearance. Presented by Robert J. Feeney, MA, Curator Material Culture and Technology, The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History.
