The BCW is a non profit organization that educates students in woodworking. Part of our revenue comes from the adult classes we offer to the community. Come learn or hone your woodworking skills with us and support a local organization working to make a difference in Durham.

Two-day Adirondack Chair Class (April 25 and 26 from 10 am โ 4 pm)
Craft your own Adirondack Chair in this two-day workshop, where you will be guided through the full process of cutting your own boards, assembly, sanding, and finishing!
Time: 10 am-4 pm Saturday AND Sunday

"On The Bench" Community Workshop โ Help us Build Benches for Durham Bus Stops

Grab a friend and come along to build a bench that will impact the wider Durham Community!
This community workshop will offer the tools, materials, plans, and support to educate you on building a bench. The bench will then be delivered to a local bus stop that is lacking seating.
This initiative is put together in partnership with Play NC, Bike Durham, and the Bull City Woodshop. Read more about it here!
While the workshop is FREE for you, there is still a cost to providing these benches! Each bench costs approx. $125. If you would like to donate towards this initiative, please do so on our website!

๐จ Build Your Own Workbench! ๐จ
Ever wanted to create your own sturdy workbench? Join us for this beginner-friendly workshop where you'll build a simple yet solid bench in just a few hours!
With just a few 2x4s, screws, and a 2'x4' sheet of plywood, you'll walk away with a functional workbench perfect for your projects.
Due to the size of the project, partners are welcome to work on one project. Please email andrea@bullcitywoodshop.org after registration with the name of the second participant. All participants are required to fill out the BCW waiver.
