The BCW is a non profit organization that educates students in woodworking. Part of our revenue comes from the adult classes we offer to the community. Come learn or hone your woodworking skills with us and support a local organization working to make a difference in Durham.

Join in on the Craft – An Introduction to Joinery

🔨 What You’ll Learn:
5 different joinery techniques used to join two pieces of wood together:- Miter
- Butt
- Dado
- Rabbet
- Rabbeted dado
Tools that will be used:
- Router Table
- Table Saw
By the end of the class, you will have learned all 5 styles as well as built a small demonstration shelf unit you can take home with you.
We will also discuss and display additional types of joinery to get you more familiar with the possibilities!📅 Saturday, June 27th
