The Campfire Experience

This little county Preserve has a 1.2 mile walkway around the lake and covered picnic tables. We can meet at 5:30 and take a leisurely walk around the lake and maybe explore other offshoot trails. Then come back and have a picnic before the park closes at sunset. Bring your own drinks and food.

Please note that the entrance is off Honore Ave and this is NOT Oscar Scherer State Park.

Relax and unwind with us at O'Leary's Tiki Bar and Grill on Saturday, October 10 at noon. We'll be sitting in the shade of the outdoor tiki hut canopy, sharing laughs and enjoying the tropical breeze off the water while enjoying food and drinks from the bar and grill.

Dust off your cowboy boots (or just wear any shoes which will let you slide a little, no flip flops) and come line dancing! Lessons start at 7 and there is $10 charge payable to the instructor to participate in lessons. The instructor teaches one dance, breaking down each step, then plays a few songs (she may or may not review the steps), then teaches another song step by step and so on until 9. So we can sit and chat between lessons.

If you’d like to join us and not dance, you’re welcome to hold down the fort at our table and tell us we looked pretty good when we sit down with you between lessons, lol.
