Twilight Kayaking: Mangrove Tunnels and Moonrise over the bay

Have you ever watched the moon rise over Sarasota Bay from the water? It's pretty spectacular! We'll start about an hour before sunset with a pre-dusk trip through the mangrove tunnels, then paddle just offshore in the bay to watch the Harvest Moon rise above the city against the evening sky.
Bring a life jacket, water, a flashlight, and insect repellant.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Rentals: There will be no kayak or paddleboard rentals available at this time of day.
Guests of members must sign a simple liability waiver pre-launch.

REQUIRED BY LAW:
To operate a kayak or paddleboard, after sunset, you must have:
• A life jacket for each person on board.
• A shining a white light such as a flashlight or lantern turned on at all times.
• Whistle or horn (I will bring extra whistles if you don't have one)
• Distress signal light (I will bring extras if you don't have one)
