About us

Hi, I'm Christina, owner of Lovelite Studios in Bellingham, WA.

I'm a photographer, storyteller, and community builder who believes some of the best connections happen when people simply get outside and create together.

I started this group to bring together photographers, creatives, entrepreneurs, models, adventurers, and anyone looking to connect with like-minded people in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Whether you're a seasoned professional, just picked up your first camera, or simply enjoy meeting new people, you're welcome here.

My hope is to create opportunities for collaboration, friendship, learning, and inspiration throughout the Pacific Northwest. From casual walks and coffee meetups to photo adventures, creative workshops, and community events, this group is about encouraging each other, growing together, and having fun along the way.

What to Expect
Welcome to The Cascade Creatives!
This is a casual, welcoming meetup for photographers, artists, makers, dreamers, entrepreneurs, content creators, and adventurers. Whether you're a professional creative, a hobbyist, or simply someone looking to meet new people and get inspired, you're invited.
We'll gather at Boulevard Park, introduce ourselves, chat, take a walk, enjoy the scenery, and connect with fellow creatives from around Whatcom County and beyond. There is no formal agenda, no pressure, and no experience requirements.
Photographers/videographers are welcome to bring their cameras and snap photos along the way, but photography is absolutely not required. If you're a model, painter, musician, writer, designer, crafter, small business owner, or creative of any kind, we'd love to meet you too.
The goal is simple: build friendships, create connections, share ideas, support one another, and enjoy a beautiful evening together.

• Sketchbook, notebook, or other creative tools (optional)
• Business cards or social media info if you'd like to network
• A friend (optional)

• Rain or shine (unless weather is extreme)
• Respect for all attendees is expected

If this is your first meetup, don't worry—many people will be attending solo and meeting everyone for the first time.
