About us

Thoughtful Conversations on Life, Human Nature & the World We Live In.

Welcome to a group for the curious minds, the reflective observers, and the everyday philosophers. You don’t need a degree in sociology, psychology, or philosophy to join—just an open mind, a healthy dose of curiosity, and a desire to explore the "why" behind human behavior, society, and existence.

We gather bi-weekly to tackle big, timeless questions about everyday life:

  • Do we actually have free will, or are our decisions predetermined by biology and past habits, or even by the laws of physics?
  • Why do we often know what is good for us, yet do the exact opposite?
  • Is our perception of reality "real," or just a useful illusion created by our brain?
  • What makes a modern "community," and why do so many people feel isolated today despite being hyper-connected?
  • Is it possible to be truly selfless, or is every good deed motivated by a personal payoff?
  • How do you determine what is true in an age of information overload?
  • If AI can create art, write poetry, and hold a conversation, what uniquely belongs to human beings?

And many many more!

Meeting format:

  • All meeting will be in person
  • We’ll introduce the session’s theme and clarify key concepts and terms so wo everyone shares a common understanding of the theme.
  • Moving one by one, everyone gets dedicated space to share their perspective, react to ideas brought up in the room, or ask clarifying questions.
  • As ideas flow, we can build on what others have said or introduce fresh angles to deepen the conversation.

If you love exploring big ideas in a relaxed, open-minded setting, grab a spot at our next table.
